I got a link to your site from my Mum - and just wanted to say I've been dealing with my own mental illness since I was 12 (I'm 28 now) and it's been a real struggle. Finally I've found the right treatment for me through the state of Texas but I really love seeing people coming forward and no longer being afraid to say they have a mental illness -- and are able to live fullfilling lives. Thank you!

Love your site. I have come to realize that there is recovery for all who truly seek it. I have been blessed by finding it. Recovery begins with HOPE. We all share the responsibility of holding that Hope until our consumers are strong enough to hold it for themselves. Keep up the good work and continue the Journey.

THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE IS STILL PRETTY MUCH A BACKWOODS TOWN IN WHICH WE ARE STILL NOT RESPECTED BUT WE ARE WORKING ON A Change. I am one of alabamas peer specialist and I hope i can inspire like you all.

I'm a Certified Peer Specialist, too, and just found out about Support the Journey through the National Association of Peer Specialists newsletter. I decided to check this site out, and I love it. I know it is indeed true...I'm the Evidence! And so are the other consumers I walk this journey with. They inspire me everyday. I'll be sharing the I'm the Evidence Campaign with them.

Thank you for your good work. I have the large Recovery poster on my large bulletin board and one of your talismans hanging on my neck. Many folks who come into our 24 hour MH Emergency Service love the Recovery message on it and copy it down to help them get through. I work as a Certified Peer Support Specialist here and I continue to spread your good name to consumers as well as clinicians. Again, I thank you. Mimi

Support the Journey is all about the steps we are taking along the way to make the journey reality. Support the Journey is embracing the moment that we are living life in its fullest dimension and then building connections to the community around us. It is about being open to opportunities and building relationships outside our comfort zone creating new moments when "I am the Evidence".

Now, more than ever, we need to Support the Journey of those we've been blessed with knowing in this life. By believing in the possibilities within each of us to change the world, and by taking time to see, to pay attention to the joy, beauty, wisdom and positive messages that are ever present, it is so. So easy...

It is our desire to create a sense of community at Support The Journey so that people feel comfortable contributing to the work we're doing and offer suggestions about how our products and materials can be used. We also want to share stories and examples of how our efforts are adding value to you or the people you connect with so that more people become inspired to find ways to show their support. Thanks for taking the time to comment. Be well...
